I have been collecting green fabrics forever it seems, but every once in a while i get one that is too dusty or too dark or too. So i started making a pile and soon enough i had this lovely selection of dark greens and grey/black fabrics with the occasional flash of lime green. The bright green seemed to be almost a peridot hue, hence the name. This skirt is made of 152 sewn and serged patches. The hem of this skirt is a twirly 144 inches, giving it a wonderful spin.
The waistband is made of a combination elastic and drawstring allowing it to fit a wide range of sizes. The elastic is 22 with a long tie sewn to each end. Fully extended, the waist/hip area would be 64" but i would recommend a maximum waist size of 45" to allow the intended gathers and poofiness. Waist - fits from about 25" to about 45".
