Natural plant-dyed linen gores alternating with cotton-silk blend gores comes in two colors. Madder roots dye the skirt pink and the indigo plant makes our deep blue. Each of the cotton-silk gores is embroidered in the same color. Pair either skirt with a simple t-shirt for a cool summer look. Indigo blue is a root we team with mud and honey on a sunny, clean-air day.
While the mud washes away, the material is left with a light honey aroma and a beautiful blue color. The elastic waist skirt is gored with folded seams.Colors: to select your color please go to the last picture on each item. In the pictures the model is wearing blue and pink.
We dry the material thoroughly after each time in the dye to check the depth of the color. Our pants, skirts and shirts have finished seams. This means that there are no raw edges; all of the seams and hems are folded under and then sewn. The designs may appear simple, they are classic designs. The detail for each garment is precise and exquisite.
