Fabulous 1950s rockabilly circle skirt, hand painted in mexico with matador, bull fighting and toro scenes. Olépainted with a sky blue background and dramatic modernist sketches of matadors and bulls in action in multi colors of the period: turquoise, rust, yellow, black, pink. Love the pink-accented suit of lights one matador has on. Dramatic, tribal, total boho bohemian fun. Each of these old painted skirts is a work of art, no two alike.Soft and comfortable to wear, with formidable twirling potential. Excellent strong colors still, for a washable and no doubt washed painting. Belt or -- more likely back then -- sash fastened. Needs button, button holes, snaps or hook and eyes if you don't want to belt it.
