1950's MEXICAN Full Circle Skirt AZTEC Pattern Hand Painted Sequined Size Medium to Large 33 inch Waist
This fabulous 1950's blk & cream aztec patterned hand painted with hand sewn sequined mexican full circle skirt is a 50's classic. The sequins are hand sewn bordering lightly over the entire fabric pattern. This vintage garment is in great condition. There is a bit of yellowing / discoloration along the waistband and along the hemline. I did not wash or dry clean this, so it might come out in the cleaning process. At any rate, it is not a big issue or distracting to the beauty of this skirt. This is a wrap around skirt with adjustable eye hooks sewn in place. The eye hooks are set at 33 inches. It could be made smaller by moving the eye hooks. It also could be made like an inch larger as well. I have shown the skirt with a petty coat in a few images. The petty coat is not included with the skirt. This garment is made of 100% cotton. There is no label in this garment. The skirt has been taken up and shortened 3 inches. It could be let out if you want the skirt longer. As i mentioned, there is a bit of discoloration along the hem, so if you let the hem out you may have to laundry to remove the discoloration. (see image # 5)measurements laying flat:skirt waist: 33 inches (can be made larger by 1 inch, or smaller by several inches) as it is a wrap around waist band, which is adjusted by moving the eye hooks. Could be 29 inches if you let the hem out.
